Director

Atty. Ambrosio is a distinguished legal and financial executive with extensive experience in banking, capital markets, and corporate governance. He currently serves as the President and Nominee of WeCap Financial Inc., a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-registered broker-dealer and active trading participant of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).

He started his career as an associate attorney at the Puyat Jacinto and Santos Law Firm (“PJS Law”) in 1999 and was named partner in 2006. He co-headed the Banking, Finance and Capital Markets Practice Group at PJS. Before being named partner, Job joined the Philippine Government briefly when he became a Special Counsel to the Department of Finance where he provided legal advice on government debt issuances and privatization matters.

In 2015, Job joined Equis Funds Group, a private equity firm that focused on renewable energy investments in Asia Pacific, deploying approximately $400M in capital to the Philippines. He helped establish the Philippine office of Equis and at the same time headed the bioenergy arm, Bioeq Energy, which built a bioethanol plant and also served as director for solar and wind projects, including the 54MW Pililia Wind Farm with Alternergy. Job has been the Chairman of Penwood Corporation since 2008, which is a consultancy firm providing services to energy and infrastructure companies.

He is currently a significant shareholder and a director of Welcome Bank Philippines, a joint venture with the Welcome Finance Group, which controls the 4th largest savings bank in Korea. He is also Chairman of The Golden Legacy Financing Corp, a financing company. He is also Chairman of SBR Labs, which is a clinic, lab and diagnostic center located in Santa Rosa, Laguna. He is also a director of Global Alliance Partners.

Outside of his business activities, Job sits as a Board of Trustee and Corporate Secretary of Acacia Waldorf School, which is one of the accredited Waldorf Schools in the Philippines.

Aside from a law degree, Job also has an International Diploma in Computer Information Systems from the University of California, Berkeley and a Practice Diploma on International Capital Market and Loans from the College of Law of England and Wales. He is also a Cochran Fellow on Biofuels given by the United States Department of Agriculture.
