Junie is a veteran executive with extensive leadership experience across the financial services sector, with a core focus on investment strategy, capital markets, and insurance. With a career that spans leading institutions such as AIA Philippines (formerly Philam Life), Philam Equitable Life Assurance Company, Beacon Property Ventures, Inc., First Metro Investment Corporation, and ABN Amro Bank N.V., he has built a track record of driving growth, innovation, and risk-adjusted performance across a diverse portfolio of financial products and services.

At AIA Philippines, Junie spearheaded the firm’s investment strategy and business development initiatives, aligning long-term investment returns with client protection needs and shareholder value. Under his leadership, AIA enhanced its asset allocation strategies and deepened integration between distribution, investments, and client servicing.

He previously served as Head of Equity Fund Management at Philam Equitable Life Assurance Company, where he managed complex fund structures and built performance-driven equity portfolios. His expertise in capital markets was further applied in his role as Director at Beacon Property Ventures, Inc., where he oversaw real estate investment strategy and structured partnerships.

Junie also led the Investment Advisory Group at First Metro Investment Corporation, where he advised institutional clients on equity, fixed income, and structured products, playing a key role in several milestone capital market transactions in the Philippines.

Earlier in his career at ABN Amro Bank N.V., he served as a senior credit executive, leading credit analysis and administration functions, and contributing to sound credit portfolio management practices in a global banking environment.

Junie brings a unique combination of analytical rigor, strategic leadership, and a deep understanding of the Philippine and regional financial landscape. His cross-sectoral experience enables him to navigate complex regulatory and market dynamics while delivering value to shareholders, clients, and partners.

He graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines and an MBA from the University of Asia and the Pacific.
